NCAUSBCA releases ranking guidelines
February 24, 2013 — Below are the Nation's Capital Area USBC Association ranking guidelines effective immediately for its adult and youth members.
ADULTS
- Bowl in at least two NCAUSBCA-certified leagues (NCAUSBCA-certified travel leagues included) in two different bowling centers. (Sport league averages will not be considered for the rankings.)
- Bowl a minimum of 66 games in each qualifying league.
- Bowl in each event (team, doubles, and singles) for the current season in an NCAUSBCA Championship Tournament (Women's and/or Open tournaments). Women must bowl in the Women's Championship Tournament.
YOUTH
- Bowl a minimum of 60 league games during the current bowling season
- Divisions are determined by the youth bowler's age as of July 31 of the current bowling season.
- Divisions are as follows:
A) Bantams: 8 years of age and younger
B) Preps: 9 to 11 years of age
C) Juniors: 12 to 14 years of age
D) Majors/Seniors: 15 to 19 years of age
The names of the men and the women with the 10 highest composite averages and the names of the boys and the girls in each division with the 10 highest composite averages will be published in BOWL Magazine and/or on the NCAUSBCA Web site.
