Hi, everybody, hope you had good summer. We are again at the beginning of a winter season of bowling, and thus, this is the time for the few to get busy—meaning you, league secretary.
Please review the information we provided to help guide you and your league, and note that there are a few changes for 2005-2006, particularly with the national awards offered by the new United States Bowling Congress. Feel free to contact your house directors or the NCABA office for guidance because you must have a good foundation to have a well-run league.
I hope to have good year, even as our association goes about the process of merging with the Washington, D.C. Area Women’s Bowling Association and the Vir-Mar-District YABA—a task we hope to complete before the start of next season. As we proceed into the unknown, I have the confidence that with help of the office staff and the past presidents, we will get it done.
