In the upcoming months, here are a few events worth remembering:
NCABA currently is preparing to host both its Championship Tournament and the Virginia State Tournament, so the next few months will be extremely busy for the association’s board of directors. We will sell Ways and Means items and run brackets at both tournaments simultaneously. Entry forms are available in each of the local bowling centers. We look forward to seeing you there; let’s have a record turnout at both events!
It doesn’t seem possible, but we are fast approaching the six-month mark into the 2001-2002 bowling season. I want to remind all leagues it is critical that the president and the audit committee continue their duties of checking the bank statements to assure that all league funds are property accounted for.
Awards continue to come in on a weekly basis, and I hope that your NCABA lane director has been to your league to present the awards earned by the bowlers. I also hope everything is running smoothly for your league and that you are reaching your goals on the lanes.
