October 11, 1995: Top seed Brian Voss takes home title No. 15 at the Greater Detroit Open in Taylor, Mich., with a 247-188 victory over Justin Hromek in the championship match. It is the ninth consecutive year Voss has entered the winner's circle in national PBA competition.


October 11, 1992: Tournament leader Parker Bohn III tops Tsuguo Tsukahara, 258-235, to win his eighth PBA title at the Oronamin C Japan Cup in Tokyo. The live NHK telecast generated an estimated viewing audience of 38 million.
