July 29, 1993: Gary Dickinson takes home his first PBA Senior Tour title with a 245-203 victory over top seed Gene Stus at the Showboat Senior Invitational in Las Vegas.


July 29, 1990: John Handegard wins back-to-back events on the PBA Senior Tour with a 216-202 victory over top seed John Hricsina at the Battle Creek (Mich.) Senior Open.


July 29, 1987: Mickey Spiezio and Rowdy Morrow each capture their first PBA championship when they team to win the Kessler/Senior Touring Pro Championship in Green Bay, Wis. The duo defeated Dick Weber and Marc McDowell in the title match, 217-204.


July 29, 1980: Tournament leader Hugh Miller conquers Steve Cook, 222-204, to win the Amarillo Open. The victory is Miller's second in Texas this year.
