July 20, 1991: Top seed Chris Warren captures his fourth PBA title at the Wichita Open by defeating Eric Forkel, 238-210.


July 20, 1988: Scott Devers misses the 7-pin in the ninth frame, but he then goes off the sheet to defeat Dave Arnold, 207-185, and win the Columbia 300 Open in Austin, Texas. The victory is Devers' third PBA title.


July 20, 1982: Steve Martin conquers four opponents, including tournament leader Wayne Webb in the title match, 224-202, to win the Buffalo Open and his sixth PBA title.


July 20, 1970: Don McCune averages 227.9 for 40 games to win his second PBA title at the Houston-Sertoma Open in Texas. His margin of victory over Jim Stefanich is 64 pins.
