July 18, 1996 Wendy Macpherson scores only 573 for three games, but it is enough to take home the top prize in the Sam's Town LPBT Greater Little Rock Classic in Tunica, Miss. The title came after a 180-158 win over top seed Marianne DiRupo.

July 18, 1996 Gary Dickinson wins his sixth PBA Senior title at the Tri-Cities Senior Open in Richland, Wash., by defeating Bruce Forsland in the championship match, 267-258.


July 18, 1995: Norm Duke captures his 10th PBA title—and becomes a PBA millionaire in the process—by topping top seed Justin Hromek, 230-193, in the deciding game. To reach this game, Duke earlier conquered Steve Hoskins (252-195), Greg Kemp (237-158), and Hugh Miller (202-194).
