July 10, 1993: Walter Ray Williams Jr. wins his fifth title of the year—third of the last four events and fourth of his last seven—by defeating top seed Dave D'Entremont 236-224 in the championship match of the Tucson Open. Williams earlier topped Mark Scroggins (267-236), Amleto Monacelli (258-191), and Bob Vespi (234-180) en route to his 11th PBA title.


July 10, 1985: Dennis Jacques captures his second PBA victory in four weeks and third of his career by crushing top seed Amleto Monacelli 212-146 in the title match of the Southern California Open in Riverside.
