June 26, 1982: The duo of Nelson Burton Jr. and Sam Zurich defeat Jim Winklepleck and Dave Husted, 227-200, to capture the Showboat PBA Doubles Classic in Las Vegas. It is Burton's 16th PBA title and Zurich's first.
