Fredericksburg’s Tiffany Bell (632 series) teamed with Chris Johnson (716) of Woodbridge to total 1,348 and capture the $800 top prize at the NCAUSBCA 600-700 Scratch Mixed Doubles Tournament at Bowl America Woodbridge on Aug. 12.
A Waldorf pair, Crystal Shaw (731) and Kevin Lomax (586), tallied 1,317 to finish second and earn $400. Anita Hawkins (607) and Mike Herman (703) of Woodbridge placed third with 1,310 and shared $200.
In the optional women’s singles, Crystal Shaw’s 731 series was high for $80, while Paulette Davis (673) of Beltsville earned $40, and Stephanie Sutton (670) of Ashburn received $20.
Meanwhile, Woodbridge bowlers pocketed all the cash in the optional men’s singles. Andrew Campbell’s 747 topped all entrants and was good for $80. Next was Mike Andrejack (732), who collected $40, and Chris Johnson, whose 716 earned him $20.
